Class ScheduleSmall Group Pilates Classes
At Absolute Balance, we offer classes with a maximum of 8 as well as small group format classes. We believe smaller class sizes provide more accountability for both the client and the teacher and allows us to tailor the session to the group’s needs. Each small group class is curated around its members and includes various classical Pilates equipment.
Our classes range from therapeutic mat classes for clients recovering from injury to high-intensity equipment classes for athletes. Whatever your needs, we will find the right fit for you. In addition to the classes on our online schedule, we offer a variety of small-group training options for 3-4 clients maximum.
If you want a different class time than our regular class times or desire an even more tailored experience, please contact us about smaller group options.
How to Get Started with Small Group Pilates Training
Although it is not required, we highly recommend all new Pilates clients start with private lessons which offer personalized, one-on-one attention tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Once you have completed your initial one-on-one Pilates experience and feel confident in your skills, your instructor will help you find a small group class that fits your skill level, needs, and goals.

Pilates Group Classes
A Pilates equipment class utilizes specialized apparatus like the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair to enhance the traditional Pilates workout. These machines use springs and adjustable resistance to provide challenge or assist the body depending on the participants needs and fitness level. The Beginner class focuses on integrating the fundamental building blocks into the beginner exercises of the classical Pilates repertoire. Participants focus on increasing strength, flexibility, core stability, alignment and coordination. With proper instruction and modifications available, this class is suitable for all fitness levels and provides a safe and supportive environment to enhance overall well-being.

While still focusing on increasing strength, flexibility, core stability, and coordination, the participants also improve their endurance and stamina.

Fundamental Mat is led by physical therapists and designed for individuals that have a history of chronic pain, are recovering from an injury, or simply need to begin strengthening from the most basic level. You will be learning the essential building blocks of strength, flexibility, stability, increased joint range of motion, proper breathing, and coordination, allowing you to feel safe and confident as you further your journey in classical Pilates.

This causes pain, muscular imbalance, and movement dysfunction. This class is a 60-minute class that focuses on myofascial release using the foam roller.
